Live Oak Pensacola Florida

Post by Larry Tucei » Tue Jun 25, 2019 11:05 am

NTS,
A large multi trunk Live Oak growing at Pine Forest United Methodist church. I’ve known about the tree for a couple of years. It is one of the largest multi’s I’ve measured and may be the largest Live Oak in Northwest Florida.

Circumference at 1’ above ground 27’
Height- 64’
Crown Spread- East West 160’, North South 127’
Largest limb- 10’ 7”
Longest Limb- 66’

This tree is in the top 10 of any Multi’s I’ve seen.
The Crown is also significant 160’ would be in the top 20
I estimated the tree at around 200 years growing on the west side of the church property.
We named it the pine forest united Methodist oh let’s take a look at it

It is nice to see that you finally got there. It is an impressive tree. For some reason, that tree is no longer listed on the Florida big tree website.

Wow. I'm over in that section of Florida every 12-18 months. I'll have to try to get a look at it.
