#1)  LiDAR for Jocassee Gorges State Park

Postby M.W.Taylor » Mon Dec 18, 2017 9:56 pm

I got a request to process LiDAR for jocassee gorges state park.  I found numerous 160'+ trees there and a few approaching 170' or even taller. I have searched about 50% so far. Will post more LIDAR maps for the other 50% soon.

Has anyone done the same for the area around Tamassee Knob near Oconee State Park in South Carolina?

I have crunched the LiDAR for all of the NC Portion of Jocassee Gorges and Jess Riddle had done the same for much of the SC portion, Tamassee Knob, Wadakoe Mountain, and other well known hot spots.

Michael,
Thanks so much for getting the LiDar posted! Sorry, I've been off the grid for the last two weeks. There's plenty of searching to be done this winter!

Michael,
I see one half of the coordinates but how does someone find the other number?
