Hermosa Creek Trail re-opens

Hermosa Creek Trail re-opened April of 2018 but enter with extreme caution.
Photos from the April article at the Durango Herald show the 416 Fire devastated the Forest and the trail looks eroded.
The article states that the lower trail has been closed since the fire.
I hope to return to the area maybe the summer of 2020 and see firsthand the results of the fire on the beloved Forest.
