Incredible and surprising news! Thanks for sharing this, Lucas!

I remember, not so many years ago a highly renowed expert said on the Ents email-list there is no tree over 60m in Amazonia... If we consider they have laser-scanned only 2000-3000 km2 and only a part of the top LiDAR hits were visited, who knows what is still hiding there.

Remarkably, Dinizia excelsa takes the title of the tallest Fabaceous tree. Formerly it was Koompassia excelsa.
