Giving Wing Therapy to Wounded PIgeon

Post by Jenny » Mon Mar 15, 2010 6:59 am

Okay...urban birds ARE wildlife and I have many many encounters with them....(Ed let me know if it's not within the scope of this forum to post my urban bird videos.)

I made a video with the poor quality camera in my computer to show the wing therapy that I give my foster pigeon Frosty who has a badly injured shoulder. (BTW, I did not name him Frosty. The rescuer did that. I like names with a little more dignity! But he was covered in snow and ice during a snow storm, so I see the logic)

Here we are last night:

Hopefully I'll get a small tripod soon that will allow me to take better videos when I am involved....

Thanks, hope whoever watches it enjoys it and can see a little bit of the rehabbing process of a wild bird.

As far as I am concerned birds are wildlife. Whether in a forest of trees or a forest of skyscrapers.
