NTS

Monica and I are in Cosby, TN at the foot of the Smokies. In a couple of days, the TCI-NTS rendezvous will begin. Will and I will try to keep everybody up on the proceedings.

Cool, thanks Bob.

I'll also provide reports, in the form of blog entries on my NTS blog. Since I don't have a formal "dendro" background, I think I'll have a unique perspective for this citizen science event.

For anyone that doesn't know how to see it, just login and click over on the right under my thumbnail image. This is my third night camping in the Cohuttas and I've already started posting.

Hi All,

Here are a couple photos from the measuring workshops. Trying out the LTI equipment (including the 200x!) and learning about measuring volume were the biggest takeaways for me. It was fun letting others use my laser/clinometer and explaining the basic math. It was also fun watching the tapedrop.
