I compiled a Rucker 10 and 20 Index for NY's Adirondack Park, current as of 9/2017, attached below. The top 10 species average 123.6' in height, and the top 20 average 115.0'. Sixteen species currently exceed 100' in height, though several more will after further surveys (Northern Red Oak, for example). Looking at the list, species needing much more attention include White and Black Spruce, Balsam Poplar, Quaking Aspen, and Striped Maple. Much work is left to be done.
