Forestry Pro 8381 Hypsometer

Post by dbhguru » Fri Sep 20, 2013 3:59 pm

Hi Folks,

I bit the bullet and bought a Nikon Forestry Pro 8381 to go with my Forestry 550, Prostaff 550 and Prostaff 440. This is enough Nikon products. I wanted to be current with the Forestry Pro so I can talk intelligently about that model. It will get lots of use in the forestry world and outside. Functionally the 8381 is the same as the Forestry 550, except that the 3-point tangent routine has been added. I'll take the product to New York tomorrow. Monica and I are going to Lake Champlain for a couple of days to visit my son and grandson. The 8381 will get a workout and I'll have a report on it upon my return.
