Don:

That's the one I have, right? Mine came in one of those clear plastic packages--no case, for $12 at Walmart. I wish I had a case for mine. This thing looks like it can do a lot, but all I do is punch in the distance, sin, and the angle--takes about 3 1/2 seconds.

I read recently that some of the cell phones now have 800 times the computer capacity that was used to send a man to the moon in 1969. I bet this little calculator has 8,000 times as much. Having this "computer" to do the one simple calculation I'll be using it for seems like a waste. Maybe I should learn to do more with it?

On the topic of scientific calculators, I've been leaving mine at home lately and strictly using an app on my Iphone. Aside from the occasional pop-up ad, I like the layout of the buttons on the free app "Calc Pro."

I do too, and all you have to do is turn the iPhone to the landscape mode, and up it pops!

On the calculator topic, I've also recently started using the scientific calculator that is part of the standard Microsoft calculator in Windows.
