Discussion of a general nature about tree climbing, humor, and other items of interest.

Earlier this year I was asked to be part of a National Geographic episode on tree climbing. The episode of "Going Deep With David Rees" features "Canopy Meg" Lowman giving the host a tour in a redwood forest, arborist and champion tree climber Mark Chisholm, and scientists from the Duke Lemur center. Your's truly is featured in the last 4 or 5 minutes of the program helping the host and his 80 year old father climb a tree in Chapel Hill. The show is, well, odd, but I thought I would share it anyway. The link will take you to Hulu where you can watch the whole episode for free assuming you are willing to sit through 2-3 minutes of mandatory ads.http://www.hulu.com/watch/681927#i0,p6,d0

I just watched the show, Congrats! I'm impressed that you got his Dad up a tree!
I'm not sure if you've seen this deleted scene, but I found this on youtube. Dr. Meg Lowman was at the TCI/NTS rendezvous last year and she's super cool.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3C0GYPd8364
