It falls upon the shoulders of every writer to reach down into themselves or into their experiences and ask the question "what motivates humanity?"

When spinning a tale of any genre it ís a challenge to properly capture all the elements that make a story relatable to the reader. For horror writers who weave their stories out of that bright thread of fear, there are still the myriad, subtle shadings of perspective. Fear of loss, abandonment, betrayal and isolation which combine to draw the reader into the story.
