Project Bud Burst

Post by Larry Tucei » Thu Mar 25, 2010 3:06 pm

ENTS, Gary, Almost all of the tree species in South Ms., have budded now and are producing leaves. With the exception of the Hickories and Pecans. They always seem to be the last species of trees to produce buds. Most trees down here bud in early to mid march, followed by rapid leaf growth. The Azalea's are finally starting to bloom. They can be spectacular and are running late this season, usually they are flowering by early March. Mobile, Ala., Azalea's are widely know for there stunning beauty. http://www.southernliving.com/home-gard ... 000064963/ Larry
