The Milliken Corporation maintains an extensive arboretum on its grounds and it is open to the public. They plant five to seven of a species in many areas and have a vast amount of open space. Some groupings have mixes of species but most are monoculture. I encountered a fair number of species that I had not seen before but most are to be expected. A baldcypress variety called 'Shawnee Brave' is planted extensively. Most trees are younger but this arboretum will shine in a another decade or so.
