Re: Posting to more than one catagory

Ed,

Actually I wondered what that " clone post " text at the bottom was. Now I know!

Thanks: James

Re: Posting to more than one catagory

Ed,

That should work. Thank you for authorizing me as a moderator for the Chestnut Project. I hope to really get involved with that as warmer weather comes in.

All your work is appreciated.

Posting to more than one catagory

Hey, Ed & Bob.

Are they a way to post a subject to more than one catagory? Say I do a trip report on say, " Chestnuts at Victor Fields NC " and need to post it to both the NC trip reports page and American Chestnut Project page. How would I do it without copy and pasting?

Re: My Ash Tree

Jenny,

Hopefully the tree leaves out healthy. You look happy to see your little tree. Maybe it is as happy to see you.

I gotta figure out more on posting pics to this forum. Especially multiple attachments as you have here. That is important with the trip reports I do.

Re: Italian Tree ID

Jenny,

In Celtic lore the " seed of wisdom " is the nut from the Hazel tree.

Hint, eat filberts and get wize. I think Ed and Bob have been doing that lately, judging by the looks of things here at ENTS!

Re: Na'vi Blue

Hey, Ed!

I like that new Na'vi blue button on the main ENTS website. That's cool!

Will there be a link button to the old Google site to view archived posts still located there?

Re: Haiku-Kiri Tree (Paulownia Tree)

Jenny, The tree is also called Royal Paulownia or the Empress Tree. I have also heard them called Princess Trees. They have very large leaves. Similar to that of Catalpa but even larger. They have beautiful very fragrant ( sometimes overwhelmingly so ) blossoms in May which overwinter in fuzzy buds ...

Re: Returning to our measurement mission

Bob,

I await this lesson. While I have gotten better at it over the last two years I am still very much a student at measuring. I am sure Will Blozan will have good advice on this too.

Re: Avatar Images

Jenny, I had trouble with this too. Most of my small 90x90 avatar images average 16-18kb in size. I had to copy a thumbnail image of one of my photos with my captura screen capture program to get it small enough to use as an avatar. No matter what I tried I never could get the image small enough and...
